Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC) warmly invites you to join our upcoming community dialogue: From Microaggression to Action: Understanding the Law and Building Safer Workplaces: Know Your Rights. Name the Harm. Take Action. The session will conduct on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 4:00 – 5:30 PM on Zoom.

Workplace microaggressions and harassment can have lasting impacts on individuals, teams, and organizational culture. Yet many employees are uncertain about their rights, reporting options, and the resources available when concerns arise.

Join us for this timely and informative discussion featuring an employment lawyer and DEI consultants, who will share practical knowledge and strategies to help participants:

Understand workplace harassment and discrimination laws in Ontario
Learn how to document and report incidents effectively
Explore options when internal reporting systems are unavailable or ineffective
Discover legal and community resources available to support victims
Build confidence to advocate for themselves and others

Whether you are an employee, manager, community member, newcomer, or frontline worker, this dialogue will provide valuable information to help create safer and more respectful workplaces for all. Please register here: https://forms.gle/iKwEvoFn7DmA11x58

Participants who attend the session will be entered into a raffle draw for a chance to win an e-gift card! We look forward to having you join us for this important conversation.
