# Fest5 International Film Festival 2026 — Youth & Green
**HEY KOLKATA! YOUR STORIES MATTER.**
Kolkata welcomes the 3rd edition of **Fest5 International Film Festival (F5IFF)**, taking place from **20–24 November 2026** at the Anthropological Survey of India (AnSI) Auditorium, Salt Lake Sector V.
**ADMISSION IS COMPLETELY FREE — OPEN TO EVERYONE!**
Organised in collaboration with the Anthropological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, F5IFF 2026 brings together international cinema, environmental storytelling, cultural heritage and young voices under the theme **“Youth & Green.”**
With **647 film submissions from approximately 80 countries**, the festival celebrates diverse stories and perspectives from across the world, with France as its Focus Country for 2026.

A special highlight is *Life Near The Canal*, a short documentary created by young participants from Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y), Howrah, as part of the F5IFF Youth & Green Initiative.
The festival will also feature internationally acclaimed environmental storytelling, including its closing film, *Chasing Time* from Exposure Labs.
