A face-to-face CPD specialty intensive from BIYOME (The BioMedical Institute of Yoga & Meditation) preparing allied health professionals to support clients before and after psychedelic-assisted therapy administered by authorised prescribers in Australia.
The course covers:
– The evidence base and limitations of the field, and the roles of each team member
– Preparation and integration skills such as readiness work, intention-setting and stabilising insights
– Contemplative, breathwork and somatic approaches within your scope of practice
– Trauma-responsive and culturally safe practice, risk assessment, referral indicators and ethical boundaries
– Reflective dyads, case discussions and collaborative pathways with psychiatrists and psychologists
Designed for psychiatrists, GPs, psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, somatic therapists, Indigenous practitioners, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, allied health and mental health workers.
