A three-day, face-to-face CPD specialty intensive from BIYOME (The BioMedical Institute of Yoga & Meditation) teaching restorative yoga as a bridge between active practice and seated meditation.
The course covers:
– Long-hold and short-hold restorative postures and therapeutic sequencing
– Prop use for different body needs, alignment and safe teaching
– Hands-on touch adjustments with supportive guidance
– Pranayama and the physiology of the relaxation response, the HPA axis and vagal pathways
– Interpersonal neurobiology, linking breath, body awareness and nervous system balance
Designed for yoga teachers, therapists and practitioners who want to add an integrative, relaxation-focused teaching approach to their work.
