Manischewitz Debuts SOUP
A New Art & Photography Exhibition Exploring Jewish Cuisine, Memory, and Identity as Living Culture
January 2026 – New York, NY — For more than 130 years, Manischewitz∙ has been part of American Jewish life — not just as a food brand, but as a constant presence at the table. From immigrant kitchens to modern homes, from Shabbat dinners to Passover seders, Manischewitz has helped nourish generations through moments both everyday and sacred.
Now, in celebration of the launch of its new Manischewitz Homemade Jarred Soup line, the iconic brand is stepping into the cultural spotlight with SOUP, a thoughtfully curated art and photography exhibition exploring Jewish cuisine, memory, and identity as a living, evolving culture.
SOUP will be open to the public from February 6–10, located at 155 Suffolk St. and is free and open to all.
Note: The exhibition will close early on Friday, February 6, at 2:00 p.m.
Public hours: February 6th to 10th.
Friday: 10 – 2 PM
Saturday: 7 – 10 PM
Sunday: 10 – 6 PM
Monday: 10 – 6 PM
Tuesday: 10 – 6 PM
Art will be sold on site.
Through contemporary visual art, photography, and storytelling, SOUP examines how food — particularly soup — functions as a powerful cultural connector: a source of comfort, care, humor, ritual, and shared memory.
