Looking for a proper Yorkshire weekend with great beer, live music and genuine community spirit?
The North Leeds Charity Beer & Music Festival returns this April for two days of outstanding real ale, relaxed entertainment and fundraising with purpose. Organised by the Rotary Club of Roundhay, the festival has raised over £100k since 2012 in support of local charities and community projects.
It’s a welcoming, friendly event that brings people together — friends, neighbours, families, colleagues and local businesses — all enjoying a great atmosphere while supporting good causes.
🍺 The Beer
At the heart of the festival are 36+ traditional cask ales, showcasing some of Yorkshire’s best-loved breweries, including: Kirkstall Brewery; Leeds Brewery; Ossett Brewery; Rooster’s Brewery; Daleside Brewery; Wishbone Brewery; Craven Brew Co; Chin Chin Brewing Co.
Expect a wide range of styles — classic bitters, pale ales, IPAs, smooth dark beers and seasonal specials. Whether you’re a seasoned ale enthusiast or just discovering real ale, there’s something to suit every taste.
Alongside the beer, there’s a dedicated **Gin & Prosecco Bar**, plus gluten-free and alcohol-free options. Festival favourites such as pork pie & peas and samosas will also be available.
🎶 Live Music
Music runs throughout both days, creating a lively but relaxed festival atmosphere.
**Friday evening** features the big sound of swing and big band classics in the marquee, alongside energetic pop and rock covers in the clubhouse — a great way to start the weekend.
**Saturday** offers an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, indie rock, soul, funk and community choir performances. Expect everything from smooth acoustic sets and classic blues to high-energy party bands and feel-good pop anthems.
There’s something for every musical taste — and plenty of opportunities to sing along.

Saturday afternoon is designed to be family-friendly, with a relaxed daytime session and parent-supervised children’s activities. It’s an ideal opportunity to enjoy live music and good food in a welcoming community setting.
