This October, discover the Lower Wye Valley, Monmouthshire and the Forest of Dean on foot as the countryside bursts into colour.
The Chepstow Autumn Walking Festival brings together 21 guided walks over one weekend, offering a chance to explore familiar places from a different perspective and discover some hidden gems along the way.
Walk through woodland and countryside, follow ancient paths, uncover stories of our history and heritage, look out for wildlife and fungi, explore the geology of the landscape, meet local producers or set yourself the challenge of bagging a trig point. Every walk has its own character, with knowledgeable local guides sharing the places they know and love.
Whether you’re a regular walker, a curious explorer or simply looking for a great day out in the autumn countryside, come and enjoy the fresh air, spectacular views and wonderful variety of walks on offer.
And there’s more than walking! Our Fringe Events bring fascinating stories and speakers to Chepstow, adding an extra dimension to a weekend celebrating the landscape, people and history of this special part of the world.
